Dear DIS Families,

It is hard to believe, but in just a few weeks the school year will be ending. There are many exciting things going on and many opportunities for parents that are interested to volunteer. Volunteers are needed to help with the library pack-up (please contact Mrs. Kristian), the 4th grade Luau (please contact Mr. Karakashian) and the Fun Days for all students (sign up at the link to the right).

We will be holding a buy one get one free book fair during the 2nd week of June during school hours only, so that students have a chance to purchase books and keep their reading skills sharp this summer. Information about summer reading, math and supply list will be available on our website during the final week of school. Students will be receiving paper copies of their final report card for the year and will bring these items home on the last day.

Please remember students are asked to dress modestly. Spaghetti straps, shorts and skirts that do not pass a student's fingertips, and beach-style footwear is not permissible. Please refer to the student handbook for complete dress code information.
